hello i'm using Ubuntu 9.10 with LTSP from the alternate CD. Installing Puredata in this Ubuntu works ok.
1. in the chroot (for localapps) i'm confronted with a broken Pulseaudio. both pulseaudio-esound-compat & pulseaudio-module-udev have conflicting dependencies, and pulseaudio is not configured. aptitude seems not able to solve this. i read several discussions about problems with Pulseaudio, but it's unclear to me if there is a solution for the above mentioned situation. 2. Puredata as localapps is running (with sound on the pc-speaker). Pd works with 2 parts: a "console" and a graphical interface. On the first booting client everything shows up. On the second, and following , the console is there, the sound is produced, the window for the interface is there,BUT this window stays empty - no image of the patch. ?? where to look for that? rolf ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Make an app they can't live without Enter the BlackBerry Developer Challenge http://p.sf.net/sfu/RIM-dev2dev _____________________________________________________________________ Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
