So I spend quite some time mucking around with Firefox as a localapp and then trying to get it to launch a remote app with ltsp-remoteapps.
I'm running Ubuntu and this is completely broken on 9.10 but on 10.04 it partially works. A remote app can be started but when combined with Firefox launching say Evince or Openoffice for .pdf or .doc files it fails. At the suggestion of some on #ltsp I wrote a wrapper shell script (attached) that actually does the job. It can be extended for any application I believe as it works by file extension. I'd like to know if this helps anyone else. Bye, -- Peter Matulis
