I have a D510MO in an M350 with a PicoPSU and it works great with Fedora 13 LTSP. Don't know about RDP but I would be surprised if there were issues with that. I would also be surprised if 2D stuff was noticeably faster on the ION board. The ION solution is "nice", but not fanless, not VESA mountable, and at nearly twice the price of the D510MO not very affordable either.
