I have a vlan that is dedicated to ltsp, with servers, clients and
switches that support jumbo frames. I'd like to test this, but I'm not
sure the best way to configure it on the client. Normally I would go
into /etc/network/interfaces and add an entry for eth0, but there is
no such entry in my chroot. I could just add a line for ifconfig into
rc.local; is there a better recommended way?
Maybe I should ask too if there is any compelling reason not to use
jumbo frames where my equipment supports it?
