Before I go writing a script, has something like this been done before: 1. Check to see if rdesktop is active (ps -ax | grep -v grep | grep /usr/bin/rdesktop) 2. If not, check again after some interval 3. If not, shut down the machine?
Maybe the code behind the X_BLANKING or SHUTDOWN_TIME options could be modified to create a new RDP_IDLE_SHUTDOWN option?
