Hello everyone!

I'm a recently new sysadmin of an edubuntu 10.04 ltsp server with 4 clients.
The server is an old hardware.
And 3 more clients are arriving in the next weeks.

But the users request more power from the server, so I found about ltsp-cluster.

But I got some questions regarding ltsp-cluster usage and user management.

First one:
Do a client uses the same appserver for the entire user session?
Or it request differents servers per application (for example it runs
thunderbird in appserver01 and firefox in appserver02) ??

Second:
Where do I have to create the users?
For what i'm looking at, I have to create users in each appserver.
So, is there any way to centralize user creation and home directories?
Do I have to use a server for nis/nfs export and then install nis
client and autohome on appservers?

Thanks in advance for any help!
