Hi, I'm having several problems with the boot of my LTSP clients: sometime, not always, clients fail to download the kernel via tftp due to a timeout error or fail, after initrd starting, due to a ssh timeout error.
The same configuration works like a charm in a virtual machine so I would like to test my network functionality. Any suggestment about how should I test my network to see if works properly for LTSP? What tests should I do? Thank you in advance, Simone ps. I'm serving a compressed fat client image to about 12 clients with a 10/100 network. My server(512 Mb ram | P4 2.40 GHz) is running Ubuntu server 10.04.2 with LTSP 5.2.1-0ubuntu9. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
