Sorry for only noticing this discussion now. We have LDM daily builds for Natty in the LTSP PPA: https://launchpad.net/~ltsp-upstream/+archive/daily Just cherry-picking the ldm package from that PPA in your chroot will fix the handling of LDM_SESSION so that: LDM_SESSION="gnome-session --session=gnome-fallback" works as expected. The bugfix in question could certainly be backported to Natty when someone has the time to do it. I may be doing it once Oneiric is released and I get a bit of time, alternatively, if someone gives me a debdiff containing the fixes from commit 1381 to 1384, I'll be happy to review and sponsor the upload. -- Stéphane Graber Ubuntu developer http://www.ubuntu.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Why Cloud-Based Security and Archiving Make Sense Osterman Research conducted this study that outlines how and why cloud computing security and archiving is rapidly being adopted across the IT space for its ease of implementation, lower cost, and increased reliability.
