It needs to allow password authentication in order to accept logins from LDM.
I run ssh on port 22 with password authentication enabled, and run a separate instance on another port with password authentication disabled. My firewall only allows connections from the internet on the alternate port. Users on the LAN can use port 22 for ssh, and use password authentication. Maybe something like that will work for you. -Rob On Wed, Nov 09, 2011 at 02:39:15PM +0530, srini v wrote: > No my ssh server does not allows for password Authentication. > > > * > * > > On Tue, Nov 8, 2011 at 21:12, Rob Owens <[email protected]> wrote: > > > On Tue, Nov 08, 2011 at 06:24:19PM +0530, srini v wrote: > > > when am giving ltsp-update-sshkeys its not taking much time > > > suddenly it got executes and also i tried with > > > ltsp-update-image > > > even i enter into the /opt/ltsp directory and i executes the same. > > > but client produces the same error, it waits for 30 sec and says no > > > response from the server > > > restarting. > > > > > > even when am try to take ssh user from the server it shows permission > > > denied(public key). > > > > > Does your ssh server allow password authentication? > > > > -Rob > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > RSA(R) Conference 2012 > > Save $700 by Nov 18 > > Register now > > http://p.sf.net/sfu/rsa-sfdev2dev1 > > _____________________________________________________________________ > > Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
