Hi, you can disable epoptes-client on a per-user basis by running 
gnome-session-properties. A dialog similar to the following will appear, 
you can uncheck epoptes-client from there:

Btw, the preferred way to ask epoptes-related questions is 
https://answers.launchpad.net/epoptes, as it's much easier to search for 
similar questions there, than searching some mailing list archives.
