What does this mean. Mostly software for the THINCLIENT goes on the SERVER but 
xorg SERVERS go on the THINCLIENT.

If you installed your drivers on the SERVER then it will not affect your 
clients.
What you need to do is to install the drivers in the chroot for the clients. 
This is not straightforward. You can test/check by abandoning the thinclint by 
installing a normal disk based ubuntu on your problematic client. If and when 
you get a working solution then install that in your chroot image, The process 
varies depending on which drivers eg I've seen (ltsp wiki maybe) how to install 
nvidia drivers on the thin clients.
