Hi, I am Roland,
I set up a Ubuntu 13.04 64bit desktop,
installed the ltsp-server and built a fatclient.
Then I installed an openldap for the users.
both worked fine.

I can PXE boot the fatclients and login
to the ldap accounts.

But I have a strange behavior:
Sometimes (after lots of firefox browsing)
or almost always when attempting to change the background
the clients looses the home-directory connection.

First sign is the "fallback to the standard unity icons on the left side"
When I then open a terminal I get the message ".bashrc Der Soccet ist
nicht verbunden"
(it's a German system... ".bashrc the socket is not connected"
and I do not see my homedir any more.

When I log out and log in again, it is all fine again - most of the time.
sometimes I have do log out and log in several times.

This is strange. I hate failures which come out of nothing an disappear
after reboot. It is no windows!

As far as I know the homedir of a fatclient is connected via ssh.
(I have no nfs-server running)
is there something wrong with ssh?

I tried it with different servers and different clients.
always the same result.

Can you help me?

Greetings
Roland (Germany)
