Hi Simon, I tried to deploy a test environment with Lubuntu 14.04 and LTSP but got same error as you: In my FAT client, i can login via console (CTRL+ALT+F1) but cannot login in X. Also, when I login in console, it says i don't have a home dir.
Can you please share your steps to make it work? Thanks in advance! 2014-07-31 6:48 GMT-03:00 Harry Lavender <harry.laven...@severndelta.co.uk>: > Hi, > > We attempted to install LTSP on Lubuntu 14.04 also, but ran into issues > with LXDE for some reason, it wouldn't let anyone log in, due to some > profile issues, the mentioned profiles are being pulled over LAN via > NIS/NFS.
