Have you tried the lts.conf values:

       LDM_LIMIT_ONE_SESSION
           boolean, default False

           Only allow a given user to log into one thin-client at a
           time.

       LDM_LIMIT_ONE_SESSION_PROMPT
           boolean, default False

           Prompt to kill processes of other logins when other logins
           are detected. Requires LDM_LIMIT_ONE_SESSION to be set.

You can get some of this sort of functionality by using xrdp on the
server, combined with either LDM's RDP support, or the
SCREEN_07=xfreerdp. Features such as localapps will not work, and
features like sound and localdev may require manual configuration.

I've only used xrdp for testing LTSP features, so no idea how it handles
in a real-world environment.
