I'm still trying to debug our LDM freezing problem. At the moment I'm guessing the problem lies with the NBD servier serving the images to the clients.
If the client looses its connection to the NBD server, then it freezes. Fair enough. But why are we getting so mange of these connection drops. I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 as the NBD server. In the log I can find several of these Jan 30 17:28:17 SERVER nbd_server[17736]: Read failed: Connection timed out Jan 30 17:28:17 SERVER nbd_server[17736]: Exiting. Jan 30 17:28:17 SERVER nbd_server[13297]: Child exited with 1 not sure if this somes from the clients or the client swap. Any further debugging ideas? I thought that NBD would keep the connection open,? /Lars Madsen Institut for Matematik / Department of Mathematics Aarhus Universitet / Aarhus University Mere info: http://au.dk/daleif@imf / More information: http://au.dk/en/daleif@imf ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dive into the World of Parallel Programming.
