Meanwhile I have a server running with 2 NICs in a VM, and when I start my Intel NUC, it loads and boots, but booting fails:
1. Loading init-rd is very slow, about 1 minute; anything wrong here, or could that be the effect of the VM? 2. At some point when booting, it says Waiting for block device /dev/etherd/e0.1 to settle... and it tries again and again. Does this sound familiar to someone, and where do I have to look for to solve this? Thanks for your insight!
