The problem is that physicaly on terminal I can see that video is
slow. It is slower than on host PC. I Want to try
intel-graphics-update-tool to update driver, but when I run this on my
host it updates driver form my host's graphic card. Is there a way to
run it in a way to update files on terminal ?

Then, I want to backup new config files to host machine and replace
original from host in image creation process.

Am I thinking right way? Or maybe I need to do something else?

Please, help me and give some advise.

A few points:

Use Epoptes to run something on the client. Right click on the icon corresponding to the client and select the option to run a command on the client.

When we use ltsp-pnp the server's system is used to create one image for all the clients. The config file var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/i386/lts.conf is used to apply individual differences to each client under a heading using the client's mac address.

If you have the time to run a live cd on the client to temporarily run it as a stand-alone you can satisfy yourself if this update tool is going to give you the improvement you seek. Comparison with video performance with a newer pc may not give you a realistic view of what the client may be capable of.

It would be helpful if you also provided (1) how much ram in each pc (2) how many clients in total are "fat" and "thin."
