No. My email described how to implement support for flight recorder in UST.

No. UST provides a daemon. This daemon already supports crash recovery.

Hi Srikanth,
One would need to modify ustd to take command line arguments to do a
one-shot collection of the buffers of a process on demand. The
overwrite mode for the buffers is already implemented, see the
UST_OVERWRITE environment variable.
