Hi all, Just reporting some new exciting additions to the Ubuntu PPAs:
The Stable PPA[1] now contains a kernel package for Natty, based on Ubuntu's 2.6.38, lttng 0.248 and lttng-modules 0.19.9. As before, you can simply "sudo apt-get install lttng" and it will pull in the patched kernel and ltt-control. The Experimental PPA[2] now contains an updated build of LTTV with live-trace-reading capabilities, as well as a new "lttng-modules" package for Natty, which installs a development snapshot of the new "LTTng 2.0". This does not require a patched kernel anymore! Finally the new Daily Build PPA[3] offers/will offer daily git builds of lttng-modules, lttng-tools, ust, liburcu and lttv. Expect breakage, but if you want to test the latest and greatest versions there is no better option! Big thanks to Mike Jeanson for the new daily stuff! As usual, make sure you read the instructions on each page before installing anything.
