The channel name is not relevant in lttng 2.0, because it is not associated with the traced data semantic as is was in 0.x. It is rather dynamically selected by the user on a per event basis. The filenames for sys open are present by default when you enable syscall tracing. With babeltrace, the filenames for close are not present, because close takes a file descriptor. This info can be regenerated by eclise lttng plugin et lttv though.
