My only thought is that we should use either the strict style exclusively or 
not worry at all about using locals like expandpath=kpse.expand_path.

I like the way that the strict style enforces a more explicit method of passing 
data around, but I'm not too fussed.

(Of course, we don't want to start forking the ConTeXt files so we're be a 
little stuck anyway.)
