Your example in the old thread (with \usepackage[greek]{babel})
works fine for me (miktex 2.9 + lualatex). I don't read greek but
showhyphens shows χα-λε-πὰ and I see one hyphenated word in the
text.
Thanks for testing, Ulrike.
Just to clarify: It works because I have a local lualatex.ini (which
I took from texlive). Miktex hasn't it yet "officially".
Thanks for your help, Ulrike.
Ulrike, I wonder whether your method could be reported in the TeXLive
mailing list as an improvement or a bugfix to be implemented.
Do you think that this would be useful to the general public?
I guess so, because other not only Greek, but Russian and Bulgarian
(among other ones) will be hyphenated using LuaLaTeX.
But I don't know whether your approach may have collateral damages
(sorry, I'm simply ignorant).
In case it is be useful, I will report this in the TeXLive mailing list.
Many thanks for your help,
Pablo
