Once luasocket is present, LR will switch to using socket.http. Occaisionally one might want to override this behaviour, perhaps one already can? > luarocks wants to support curl and wget then setting source.extension > as Steve suggests may be best. There (as always) is a hack. Once I pushed up a new tag 'v2.2.tar.gz' then http://github.com/stevedonovan/Webrocks/tarball/v2.2.tar.gz works ;) And I've just tested that this works in source.url, even through a proxy. A little extra untidiness on Github, less things for LuaRocks to worry about... steve d. _______________________________________________ Luarocks-developers mailing list [email protected] http://lists.luaforge.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/luarocks-developers
