Once luasocket is present, LR will switch to using socket.http.
Occaisionally one might want to override this behaviour, perhaps one
already can?

There (as always) is a hack.  Once I pushed up a new tag 'v2.2.tar.gz' then

http://github.com/stevedonovan/Webrocks/tarball/v2.2.tar.gz

works ;)

And I've just tested that this works in source.url, even through a proxy.

A little extra untidiness on Github, less things for LuaRocks to worry about...
