I simply point my release rockspecs to a tag in a Git repo: https://github.com/agladysh/json2lua/blob/master/rockspec/json2lua-0.3.2-1.rockspec This seems to be a good workaround — especially since LR stopped doing full clone. OTOH, it would be cool indeed, if LR would support GH better.
