Hi, Hisham, Thank you for the enlightenment. It sounds as thought this could work for us. I've already plumbed the mysteries of package.path and package.cpath. I'll see if I can get this working in prototype form.
I recommend consideration of your answer to my first question as a FAQ, with a question along the lines of, "Is LuaRocks ready for Lua v. 5.2x?" I suspect that as Lua 5.2 adoption grows, more people will have that question.
