I am in favor of a rule (despite the fact that I've retroactively violated it) 
that no rockspec may be posted on the official repositories unless it specifies 
a maximum compatible version of Lua.

I'd also have no objection if, after some warning period to rockspecs authors, 
rockspecs that only specify "lua >= 5.1" are changed to "lua >= 5.1, < 5.2"
