I've updated luasyslog [1] to Lua 5.2 and refactored the code: rockspec in the attachments. It is a micromodule that implements a syslog appender for LuaLogging [2]. Anyway I'm not the original maintainer [3] nor I did find a way to contact him, so I'm not sure this is the best way to proceed. Any feedback appreciated.
