Gunnar, I might be wrong on this one (and Hisham should correct me), but
anything the Makefile puts in LUA_LIBDIR and LUA_LUADIR will be correctly
removed when you do 'luarocks remove foo'
Stuff like "doc", I don't know.
Regarding LUA_LIBDIR vs SO_INST_ROOT, it is best to use the former, because
it allows me to install wherever I want, using --local or --tree (instead
of defining environment variables)
