You could host the docs in a git branch, and use the github-pages feature
plus a static site generator? (Like, I don't know, Octopress or Jekyll?)
Or use the Wiki feature of Github?
Or maybe Leaf has already written a Wiki engine in Lapis :)
As static generators go, I found this one written in Lua:
