I would agree that this is not so hacky, and a nice way to do things while
developing. But that's not to say it couldn't be better. I've been writing
JavaScript recently, and NPM has a useful command called "link" for this
sort of thing. If you're feeling ambitious, you could steal, I mean propose
a similar feature for LuaRocks.
