I've written a few papers for TUGboat on LuaTeX, I think the following two might be of interest: http://tug.org/TUGboat/tb31-3/tb99isambert.pdf http://tug.org/TUGboat/tb32-1/tb100isambert.pdf They aren't that easy, but it's hard to find something interesting and easy in LuaTeX: after all it's TeX, which is not easy.
