Dear all, My guess is that the following behavior is not caused by a problem in LuaTeX (it would be nice to have confirmation for this though), but this seemed the most appropriate place to ask for advice.
Attached is an MWE using the JASATeX class (which can be downloaded at ftp://ftp.aip.org/asa/JasaTeX-0.1tc7.zip). xelatex and lualatex run in an infinite loop, as far as I can tell. My log file goes over 100 MB within 10 seconds. This only happens when using system fonts and this also happens with xelatex on the same file. Removing \batchmode or removing \begin{figure}...\end{figure} eliminates the problem. I'm not sure where to report this. The class file is old (from 2007) and it appears not to be maintained anymore: http://tex.stackexchange.com/a/77848/12212 However, LyX still includes a template using JASATeX so that is why I am investigating this issue. Can someone confirm that the above behavior is due to a missing feature in the class file and not a problem with lualatex or xelatex? My system settings: Ubuntu 13.10 TeX Live 2013 (installed with https://github.com/scottkosty/install-tl-ubuntu although I don't think that makes a difference) $ lualatex --version This is LuaTeX, Version beta-0.76.0-2013061708 (TeX Live 2013) (rev 4627) Best regards, Scott
