Here subfont.w.orig is the source in the TeX Live
repository. We are with the bug in TeX Live 2014, since
subfonts may rarely be used in LuaTeX.

I downloaded latest LuaTeX binaries from CTAN/systems/win32/w32tex/
and put them into TeX Live 2014.
There is still a similar error after running the same test:
