| The problem is, that a native c library is needed in addition to the Lua wrapper. Therefore I cannot simply install Luatex (and context) but need to build and distribute a custom lib. My ultimate goal is to offer a simple guide for my colleagues on how to build the manuals I write in context. That will not work anymore if I require them to also install (and possibly build) further libs. An integration into the luatex "distribution" is in my opinion the only sane approach for my intend :)
