[luatex] Broken UTF-8 sequences in log

Hi all,

This is an example, which shows that UTF-8 output is broken:

    абвгдеёжз № ийкл мнопрстуф =\> хцчшщъыьэюя
    \bye

Log file attached.

As LuaTeX aims at being 100% UTF-8 on input and output, this
incomplete UTF-8 sequence in output may be an indication of
inconsistency.
