tounicodes are automatically added and i don't like to add exceptions for fixing bad glyphs

the sole reason why this csquotedblright is there is to compensate for bad built-in-the-glyph kerning and as macros are used anyway to access them i'd do that in the macro, something

\def\fixeddblleft  {\kern-0.1em\quotedblleft }
\def\fixeddblright {\quotedblright\kern-0.1em}

after all, you use a quote wrapper already
