I thought I would run our LyX tests on LuaTeX's development version. This is my first time doing this, so I would not at all be surprised if I did something wrong. If you cannot reproduce with r6105, then it is likely that it is something strange on my end. To use the development version, I just ran build.sh and then copied lualatex to /opt/texbin and overwrote the binary that was there.
When I run the following command (with the attached file) lualatex --interaction=batchmode EmbeddedObjects.tex it does not end with LuaTeX development version. When I run it with updated TL 2016, it ends (it exits with error). Attached are the .tex file, the included .pdf, the "good" (exits with error on TL 2016) log and aux and the "bad" (does not exit) log. Best, Scott
