Beware of Byteware. It's a very much buy at your own risk place. I
refuse to shop there.

It looks like Byteware has a refurbished Sony notebook computer for only
$1000. The only component of this notebook that may not work in Linux is
the winmodem and memory stick reader. The onboard Radeon video should work
with the open source driver with full DRI 3D acceleration (unlike the
onboard ATI mach64 in my Sony Athlon notebook.)
