Very good point.  Typos could be dangerous if the current directory is
in the path. I know a lot of people make a bunch of aliases that cover
most typos and have them do the appropriate thing.  I always kind of
thought of this as a convenience, but now I see that it has good
security implications, too.  At any rate, I always just type ./ myself
anyway.
