This seminar is for semi-knowledgable Linux people, and an introduction
to base knowledge necessary for those taking Operating Systems ICS412
during the Fall 2002 semester at the University of Hawaii. Topics of
this seminar will include:
1. Kernel configuration and compilation
2. Kernel modules and dependencies
3. System and network device configuration
4. /proc
5. Installing and using system tools.
6. Other miscellaneous technical topics.

Warren, at the last meeting, you said, I think, that you almost had the
hacks to make Wordperfect work under Crossover. I hope you get there and
don't mind sharing your knowledge. As I think I have told you before,
getting word perfect to work would be the final thing I need to do to
make a complete transition to linux. see you tomorrow.
