Greetings all,
Just wanted to drop a little note. I just recently joined the
list, and am fairly new to linux as well. I have been using linux for
about eight months now and just love it. I am very interested in the
open source / linux community, and would love to help out if there is
something to be done. I am on Oahu. I am not currently enrolled in
school, or anything like that. I guess you could classify me as a
"linux garage user" seeing as I am for the most part self-taught. I
am very interested in getting certs. If anybody has any info, or can
point me in the right direction, feel free to email me. Wishing all
of you a tux of a time.

Welcome Scott, I am about in your boat. Hanging out at the meetings and
asking questions will help. There are ?courses at ?HCC. I saw a website
which purports to give credits. Warren and other members can teach you a
lot. Try the book Linux complete by Sybex. Good luck
