I complained about this also just to find that when they placed a filter on my
line (to prevent video or TV) they didnt crimp one end very well and the wind was pulling the wire from the coax connector. I put in a new connector
and crimped it properly now I have a good connection.
Their excuse: "we just contract out those jobs and are not responsible for the work done." I received clarification the next day without calling in which means they have someone that overlooks all complaints and that
person emailed me and apologized for the remarks made and said they will
contact the contractor who did the job and give me one month free of RR.

Yeah we don't have this problem here...basic cable is required if you want a cable modem....
