The only thing I've installed is the Nvidia drivers. Its easy enough, just
download the kernel and glx source rpms then do a 'rpmbuild --rebuild
--recompile on both of them. It will put the build rpms in
/usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/ you can install them from there with rpm. I
can't help you with ALSA, haven't installed those.
