I have run a desktop with the about the same specs with no problems, and since it seems that you want to use this for web-authoring you shouldn't see many problems. > I remember a few posters mentioning I should have at > least 128mb RAM, so do you think I will be all right > with 64mb? 64MB of RAM is enough to run X, but don't be surprised if it runs a little slow if you want to watch movie clips (*.mpeg, *.avi, etc). One of my most stable systems I had running was a 266 w/ 64 MB of RAM and a 4GB harddisc, and it was running Mandrake 8.1, and before that RH 7.2. I wasn't sure about which distro I favored at the time, and have used Mandrake on my systems since, due to the fact that I still consider myself a newbie after a year. I wouldn't worry, though; I think you'll definately get your money's worth out of the laptop. Casey __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful.
