The oldest binary I found on FreeBSD's site is: ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/i386/4.6.2-RELEASE/packages/editors/AbiWord-gnome-1.0.1.tgz If you do not want to upgrade from 4.5, then that might be your best option. You might be missing a bunch of dependencies if you do it that way. > All the How To's I have are for AbiWord. Installation HOWTOs are usually not necessary if you keep /usr/ports updated. If you follow the -STABLE or -CURRENT tree, you can install it automagically via /usr/ports/editors/AbiWord. 4.8 is tagged as RC1 right now. Just a few weeks before 4.8-RELEASE is announced. (Silly me thought 4.8 was already released.) -Vince
