Ah, it's nice to see even Linux junkies back home are sounding off about these nuts. I just got back from school in Utah, and the Linux user group there is flooding the mailing list about this(SCO is in Utah afterall). Personally, I think SCO is ridiculous in their suits, and are just sad because they missed the Linux boat like other distributors, and now are fishing for some easy money. I really don't think there are two sides to the argument, the SCO is, as was previously stated, clueless. They really just make themselves look like fools when they attempt to claim property that isn't there. It's almost as bad as what I heard on the news last night where this guy was trying to get the land under the Kahala YMCA re-zoned for a big store(like Safeway), when he hadn't even consulted the owner, or lease holder. That's how foolish the SCO looks to me.
Anyways, I just signed up for this list yesterday, looking for a group in Hawaii to keep me up-to-date with linux, and so here I am. It's also surprising(and comforting) to see Ted Kanemori on the list, as he is the husband of my favorite(and most influential) elementary school teacher! I hope to chime in on this list occasionally, Aloha! -Kekoa Vincent On Fri, 2003-05-16 at 11:38, Warren Togami wrote: > Sorry, your facts aren't right either.
