I was talking about a different dual monitor setup, Eric. The one
operated with the Xinerama option turned on (fully functional under KDE,
but only partially implemented under GNOME 2.4). This option allows
your window screen to become double-wide, very useful for working on
large spreadsheet or databases. Of course, if you don't need the other
monitor, you can always turn if off.
