if it supports regular expressions you could use /[?]{5}/ (much sexier
than \?\?\?\?\?)

warren or vince would know better than I when it comes to SA

Subject: [luau] Spamassassin Rule

header LOCAL_DEMOFART_SUBJECT Subject =~ /?????/
score LOCAL_DEMOFART_SUBJECT 15

This my rule in SA. I want to block messages that contain at least (5)
?'s in the Subject line.
This should do it because when I used

header LOCAL_DEMOFART_SUBJECT Subject =~ /FART/
score LOCAL_DEMOFART_SUBJECT 15

It was able to block anything with FART in the subject line.

Anyone got any ideas why question marks is not working? I also tried
embedding it in quotes.
