BTW, I have noticed that Oceanic seems to give me a fixed IP address.  I 
don't think this is specific to Earthlink (but never bothered to find 
out when I was with RR).  Does anyone know anything about this?

Again, Windows should be banned from consumer broadband use.  
Windows+broadband+24/7, and we have a cybernatic time bomb in every
