Hi Nathan,

I use a PowerMac G4 ( 533 MHz Digital Audio series ) for most things. I'm running Mac OS X v10.3 right now. It's great! I know that Richard Stallman probably wouldn't agree, but I sure hope you're dual booting on the power book. Mac OS X is too great to pass up.

A few months back, I decided I didn't want to be the only guy without a laptop so I bought an old ThinkPad 390x on ebay. It's great too. I've been running the unstable branch of Debian on it. Just recently I decided I want more flexibility on the laptop's system so I backed up my files re-partitioned and now I'm running Knoppix 3.3 and I'm going to install Fedora Core 1 or 2 soon.

I hope Yellow Dog Linux works out well. I remember using it on a revision A Bondi iMac. Back then it was still pretty new and things weren't very easy to setup, but I bet Yellow Dog has matured a lot since then and your powerbook will probably be automatically detected for the most part. Good luck!

I just bought a new 15” Powerbook.  I’ll tell everyone how the Yellow dog install goes. Does anyone else have or use mac?
